Seasonal Trains LLC is made up of a husband and wife team, Jeff & Linda Longwell.
Jeff is a self employed Computer Programmer and Linda is a retired Teacher.
Jeff built his first train in 2011 for Plattsburg, Missouri’s local Christmas festival and has worked on improvements and new train designs ever since.
The current train engine was completed in 2017 by Jeff and Linda for local charitable events in and around Springfield, Missouri. Desiring to reach outside their local area, they redesigned the train to fit in a 16’x7′ enclosed trailer for storage and transporting to events. During one of the events in 2020 they got a request to build a train for an RV Park. This gave them the idea to have a business of building trains while still being involved in giving rides at community events.
April 1, 2021 “Seasonal Trains, LLC” came into existence.
The name “Seasonal Trains” came about because of the different façades, lights, and decorations built on the train engine and cars for themed events such as Christmas Celebrations and Fall Festivals .
Jeff and Linda enjoy traveling in their Class B RV Van all over the country. They use their Van/Trailer to do special events across the United States. They also deliver custom built trains to their new owners.
Jeff & Linda live in Springfield, MO and enjoy family, volunteering, and traveling.
